With an international student community of more than 1,000 students from 65 nationalities worldwide, you can choose from over 140 programmes in 12 campuses located throughout Peninsular Malaysia. UniKL MALAYSIA FRANCE INSTITUTE via UniKL International Office (UIO) has always been supporting and creating opportunities for local and international students to experience and broaden their education, skills and knowledge on an international level.

We offer a place for any international students who like to experience the study/work culture in Malaysia, the multitudes of cross-cultural activities and most importantly to be truly prepared in becoming a global professionals under the guidance of our valued academics and selected courses. Local and international students are encourage to apply for the Short term Mobility programme or the Full Semester Mobility programme which is opened for application all year long. Applicants have the opportunity to do credit transfers between institutions and enjoy the benefits of being a part of UniKL.

ACCOMMODATION

International students have the option to rent in the students’ hostel within the campus compound or choose to rent outside. Public transportation to the campus are convenient and efficient.

Kuala Lumpur

The capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is a diverse area that includes Tamil, Chinese, Malay, and indigenous inhabitants. The most populous city in the nation, Kuala Lumpur is spread over 200 square kilometers and now merges with neighboring suburbs to create a hub of activity and commerce. Tourism is a central focus in Kuala Lumpur and as such there are a huge variety of attractions for visitors to choose from, ranging from the more traditional to the more modern depending on your tastes. There are temples and mosques to reflect the diversity of the city, spectacular futuristic towers and skyscrapers, local markets and street food, and just about anything else you can imagine.

Putrajaya

A planned city and the federal administrative centre of the Malaysian capital. The seat of the federal government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former. Kuala Lumpur remains as Malaysia’s national capital per the constitution, and is still the seat of the King of Malaysia and the Parliament, as well as being the country’s commercial and financial centre.
