Mechanical Engineering Sectiom provides an excellent learning environment focuses on the application of engineering principles in the design, development and manufacturing of mechanical devices and systems. The programme’s objective is to produce competent mechanical engineering graduates who are creative and innovative in the design, analysis and operation management of mechanical design systems, with research & development (R&D) and leadership capabilities.

The subjects offered focus on strong foundation in Mathematics and Physics followed by a thorough coverage of basic engineering courses such as Engineering Drawing, Statics, Noise and Vibration, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Aided Engineering Design, and Solid Mechanics.

Through the learning and research activities with expert academic staff, comprehensive and innovative learning techniques are adopted towards producing multi-skilled professionals in the area of Mechanical Engineering.
